Installation

I created installations with all the interviews printed on thermal paper and stapled to kraft paper bags.

The first one was outside CSM’s canteen as I felt a food-related place made sense.

Interviews in regular paper stapled to kraft paper bags. The prints also show the date and location of interviews and a QR code that links an Instagram account about the project.

The final installation featured highlights from the interviews screenprinted on each bag so people could read them from a distance. Having shorter texts in larger type provided a summary, which made sense since people were only passing by. Additionally, the fact that the texts were partially hidden by the receipts welcomed interaction (see Audience Engagement).

On this iteration I used receipt paper and added more context to the prints: a project description and a caption for the QR code.

the project’s Instagram profile is a place where conversations with the audience, or even delivery riders, could happen.
